LAMAZE CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR, A SPINNING BABIES® PARENT EDUCATOR & BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA

Kirsten Dudley, LCCE CD DTI

Originally from Liverpool, England and now living in Marin County, California, Kirsten uses her experience as a mother of six and grandma to one, to support her clients during their pregnancy and beyond. Every birth was unique, whether at home, at a birthing centre, or in a hospital. The level of care she received impacted her birth experience, and she feels every mum should feel safe and in control of their choices, as much as she can when she is going through one of the most unique and special moments in their life. Having breastfed all her children, she loves to help others to learn how easy and beautiful it is with the right support. Kirsten feels like she is your non-judgemental sister; she’s also been there and helped others through it.

BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA, PLACENTA SPECIALIST & CHILDBIRTH EDUCATOR

Michelle Gunderson, CD

Michelle is a certified Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator and Placenta Specialist, serving San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. She has always been fascinated with birth and babies and considered a career as a labor and delivery nurse. In 2005, Michelle became pregnant with her first child. She remembers her family were anxious as they tried to support her during her birth; she was scared and had no one to ground her. After the birth of her daughter, she learned about doulas and it struck a chord with her. Not long after that, her best friend asked her to support her during her baby's birth. The experience was amazing and she was hooked, and started down the path of becoming a doula. She can't think of a better job than helping babies being born and to experience how incredible the birth of a child is. A parent never forgets the birth of their children and she is honored to support, encourage and be there for the beginning of a new life.
